Ganesh is in Hinduism one of the most outstanding and popular divinities.

He is considered a disposer of material obstacles and facilitating spiritual pathways.

With human body and elephant head is the most revered God of India and its influence extends to part of Asia and the Indian subcontinent.

He is the god of intelligence, wisdom, the protector of teachers and education.

Son of Shiva and Parvati, their wives are Siddhi (meaning success), Buddhi (intellect) and

Riddhi (Wealth).

It is represented with four arms holding different symbolic objects, among them a Mala of fifty elements, a sweet (the reward), an axe (the detachment), a Fang (the writing) and a knot (to capture the errors).

The top is the elephant God, the bottom, the human body.
